Job summary

Purple Rock IT Solutions in Dubai seeks a hands-on Network Engineer to design, deploy, and manage LAN/WAN, Fortinet FortiGate firewalls, and UniFi wireless networks for MSP clients and large event deployments across the UAE. You will work on-site, including evenings and weekends, supporting high-pressure deployments.

The role emphasizes field work over desk jobs, with responsibilities from site surveys to on-site troubleshooting, documentation, and collaboration with project teams.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of network deployment and support experience.
• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Networking, CS, or related field.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, subnetting, routing, switching, VLANs, STP, DHCP, DNS, NAT, and VPN.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Currently based in UAE with visa to work.

Responsibilities

• Configure, deploy, and maintain LAN, WAN, and wireless network infrastructure.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot switches, routers, firewalls, APs, and related services.
• Manage networking across MSP client sites including VPN and security.
• Support event deployments and on-site troubleshooting during live operations.
• Create and maintain network diagrams and documentation.
