Qualifications

Field Marketing Manager - META

Department: Marketing

Description
Responsible for the demand generation plan for the META region through creating a full funnel marketing approach that includes marketing channels including, but not limited to, field marketing events and tradeshows, sales materials, account-based efforts, prospect targeting, and more. Serving as the primary marketing point of contact for the META region, directly engage and collaborate with the Field Leadership Team, Sales teams and partners to understand their key customer priorities. Ensure campaigns are executed on time, accurately and successfully, translating go-to-market strategies and identified opportunities into actionable and measurable programmes.
Support SANS client acquisition and expansion together within the Business Development & Sales teams. Through support and expertise, enable SANS Institute to reach new & existing customers through marketing initiatives, localised marketing, events and developing activities that drive traffic and brand excitement.


Key Responsibilities
Main duties and responsibilities:

Strategic
  • Define a region-specific marketing plan that supports the regional sales strategy.
  • Provide insight and geo-specific requirements to broader marketing discipline teams, including Product Marketing, Content Marketing, Digital Marketing and Campaigns & Events.
  • Working with sales to analyse pipeline trends and define and track results of key actions to help address gaps or local initiatives.
  • Own and run account-based marketing campaigns with your Sales to enable Sales Development Reps to accelerate new customer acquisition.
  • Plan and host online and offline events to create net-new sales opportunities, accelerate existing sales opportunities and deepen our existing customer relationships.
  • Participate in strategising, building and executing integrated campaigns that drive the achievement of the regional and overall SANS revenue targets.
  • Manage and control the META regions Marketing budget in collaboration with the Senior Field Marketing Manager, EMEA
Operational
  • Working with Content Marketing, Brand and Sales and engage in relevant partnerships to build and support the local Cyber Security community to increase our brand awareness locally.
  • Assist your (regional) Sales teams as needed to address pipeline gaps, including increasing brand awareness locally/regionally, and driving leads and MQLs.
  • Conduct post-event/campaign evaluations and ROI analysis; report and share results and recommendations with the Sales and Marketing teams.
  • Support various other marketing projects as needed.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
  • Bachelors or master’s degree in Marketing.
  • Fluency both verbally and written in Arabic and English.
  • 5-6 years’ Marketing experience of which 2-3 years in B2B Field Marketing.
  • Excellent knowledge in marketing, sales, and promotion, coupled with a creative mindset and being hands-on.
  • Proven knowledge and experience in the META region, including the development and execution of marketing activities tailored to the region.
  • Experience delivering, accelerating and expanding sales pipeline through regional marketing activities.
  • Proven track record of delivering results and achieving on time and on budget delivery.
  • Understanding of lead generation best practices.
  • Direct experience working with CRM and Marketing Automation tools such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Pardot, Marketo (or similar) and Salesforce.com.
  • PC literate with good MS Office skills.
  • Self-starter who is not afraid to challenge the status quo.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills as well as presentation skills.
  • Ability to use own initiative and work independently.
  • Able to work in high pressure situations and deadline driven.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Good time management skills.
  • Highly organised and proficient at managing multiple projects at the same time.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Possess strong communications skills to communicate globally across marketing and other departments.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
