Job summary

Halian Group is seeking an Events and Marketing Field Specialist for a 6-month contract in the UAE. You will own end-to-end event execution, liaising with UAE agencies, vendors, and internal sales teams to drive pipeline from on-site activities and post-event follow-up.

The role focuses on logistics, budget tracking, and on-site delivery, with close collaboration to the UAE Marketing Lead and ABM programs. Travel within UAE and occasional evenings are expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in B2B field marketing or event management
• Knowledge of UAE venues, caterers, AV and production suppliers
• Vendor and budget discipline; negotiate contracts and track spend
• Experience with CxOs and senior enterprise buyers
• Willing to be on site, including evenings and travel within UAE
• Arabic language proficiency
• Experience in AI, SaaS or scale-ups
• Familiarity with Salesforce, SplashThat, Asana or Lemlist
• Experience running ABM-linked events

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute events end-to-end, including logistics and on-site delivery
• Manage UAE event agencies and vendors; ensure deadlines and invoices
• Oversee budget contracts, POs, and spend against UAE budget line
• Coordinate third-party event lifecycle: staffing, badges, lead capture
• Collaborate with UAE Marketing Lead on ABM events and partnerships
• Coordinate with Sales (BDR, AE, FDE) for invites and on-site coverage
• Provide post-event reporting: registrations, attendance, cost per attendee, SQLs

Our Client:

Our client, a fast growing AI company are hiring for an Events and Marketing field Specialist to join their team for a 6 month contract.

We're looking for a field marketing freelancer to take the execution of that calendar off the ground and run it end to end. You won't be setting the strategy, that sits with the MENA Marketing Lead, but you will own the build: logistics, agencies, vendors, budget tracking, on-site delivery, Sales relationship and the follow-up that turns an event into pipeline.

Your Responsibilities:

• Event execution, end to end. Owned formats (CxO dinners, executive breakfasts, afterworks, ~30 people, mixed prospect/client) and third-party events (trade shows, partner events): venue & catering (w/ agency), guest list mechanics, run of show, on-site delivery, and post-event follow-up.
• Agency and vendor management. You'll be the day-to-day contact for our UAE event agency. Briefing them, holding them to deadlines, reviewing deliverables, chasing invoices. UAE lead will validate here.
• Budget and admin. Contract negotiation, PO and vendor onboarding, invoicing, spend tracking against the UAE budget line.
• Third-party event lifecycle. Resource planning, badge and lead capture setup, staffing plan, checking the sponsorship package and making sure we actually get it.
• The full event ecosystem around the moment in collaboration with UAE Marketing Lead. OOH in and around venues, speaking placements, side dinners and breakfasts, coordination with the ABM programme so an event lands on the accounts we care about.
• Sales coordination. Working with the UAE BDR, AE and FDE teams on invite lists, on-site coverage, and post-event handoff so leads don't sit.
• Reporting. Registrations, attendance, cost per attendee, SQLs and pipeline generated per event.

Your Qualifcations:

• 5+ years in B2B field marketing or event management, with real ownership of events from first brief to post-event reporting.
• A working knowledge of the UAE network: venues, caterers, event agencies, AV and production suppliers in the UAE and ideally beyond.
• Vendor and budget discipline. Comfortable negotiating a contract, challenging a quote, and tracking spend.
• Enterprise audience instincts. You've run rooms of CxOs and senior enterprise buyers.
• Willing to be on site, including evenings for dinners and travel within the UAE
• Arabic (fluent or working proficiency)
• Experience in AI, SaaS or a scale-up environment
• Familiarity with Salesforce, Splashthat, Asana or Lemlist
• Experience running ABM-linked events
