Job summary

Parsons Corporation in Dubai seeks a Civil Inspector specialized in landscape, irrigation, and infrastructure. You will supervise site activities, ensure compliance with drawings, specs, and safety standards, and coordinate with engineers, contractors, and laboratories.

The role emphasizes field testing, documentation, and quality control across landscape interfaces, underground utilities, and concrete works, with travel to project sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in Civil Engineering or related field; high school may be considered with substantial inspection experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in construction inspection or supervision, with irrigation, landscaping, utilities, and infrastructure works.
• Experience supervising irrigation works in Dubai is advantageous.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, specifications, and method statements.
• Strong understanding of civil construction processes, testing, and inspection procedures.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication.

Responsibilities

• Carry out continuous inspection of civil, landscape, irrigation, utility, and infrastructure construction activities.
• Verify workmanship against approved drawings, specifications, and contract requirements.
• Inspect irrigation pipelines, fittings, valves, controllers, sprinklers, and network components.
• Monitor landscaping works, soil preparation, grading, and external improvements.
• Witness soil compaction tests, concrete slump, and other field tests as required.
• Review lines, levels, grades, and survey controls before work proceeds.
• Record defects and support non-conformance reports; monitor corrective actions.
