A leading engineering services company is seeking a Field Engineer Technician (Mechanical) in Dubai. This entry-level role involves supporting field operations with fundamental mechanical engineering principles and performing routine tasks. Job Overview:
The Field Engineer Technician (Mechanical) is an entry-level position responsible for supporting field operations through the application of fundamental mechanical engineering principles. Under direct supervision, the technician performs routine technical tasks in accordance with established engineering procedures, safety protocols, and quality standards.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
Assist in preparation of detail drawings and deliverables of high technical quality and of consistent presentation ensuring clarity and ease of construction.
Gain experience in following areas:
Design
2D drafting
Develop basic technical skills to complete assigned work
Gain an understanding of the Contract scope of work, Specifications, Schedule, and all inter discipline requirements.
Maintain a filing system for various drawings and documents as directed by the senior designer.
Assist and or prepare Discipline deliverables such as:
Detailed design drawings.
As-built drawings.
Keep Lead Designer and or Senior designer appraised of all activities, progress, and concerns.
Essential Qualifications and Education:
High school graduate with diploma in mechanical or drafting in a related discipline or equivalent experience.
Experience in Drafting tools like Auto CAD etc. and MS Office Suite including Excel and Word
