Job summary

Consertus seeks a Civil Inspector to join the Construction Supervision Department in the UAE. You will conduct site inspections on road and infrastructure projects to verify compliance with approved plans, specifications, codes, and land boundaries provided by the Government.

This role requires close coordination with the construction team, engineers, and contractors to verify structural quality, material compliance, and adherence to contract documents throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of experience in construction inspection, quality control, or site supervision, preferably on roads/infrastructure projects.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, shop drawings, and technical specifications.
• Proficiency with surveying tools and measurement techniques.

Responsibilities

• Inspect projects during and after construction for safety and conformance to specifications and codes.
• Verify facilities and installations meet environmental impact and design requirements.
• Monitor materials and construction techniques to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Maintain daily logs and supplement inspection records with photographs.
• Coordinate with the construction team to obtain survey data and ensure readiness of shop drawings and snag lists.
