About the Role :

A high-profile British family based in Abu Dhabi is seeking a professional, experienced, and nurturing nanny / governess to support the development and well-being of their 6-year-old twins (boy & girl). This long-term, sole-charge position is ideal for a qualified nanny or governess with a strong SEN background , particularly in supporting children with dyspraxia and sensory-based OT needs .

You will work alongside a team (chef and housekeeper already employed) to ensure the children's educational and emotional development while also managing daily routines and activities.

Candidate Profile :

We’re searching for a native-level English-speaking nanny or governess with :

• 6+ years of professional childcare or governess experience
• Formal qualifications in Early Childhood Education or Child Psychology
• Proven experience supporting SEN , especially dyspraxia , sensory regulation, and coordination therapy
• Confident with homework help, therapy implementation , and progress tracking
• Warm, proactive, engaging personality with strong communication and teamwork skills
• Experience in international or high-net-worth households

• Comfortable with international travel (3–4x annually)

Key Responsibilities :

• Daily school runs, homework support, and play facilitation
• Tracking and coordinating OT / sensory therapy goals for dyspraxia
• Liaising with therapists, educators, and the family to ensure developmental progress
• Planning creative, structured activities during weekends and holidays
• Proxy parenting when required
• Collaborating with existing household staff
• Fostering a stable, nurturing, and stimulating environment
