Job description

We are a startup fashion design & Tailoring studio based in Abu Dhabi, passionate about creating unique, stylish, and culturally rooted garments for a variety of occasions. From elegant bridal wear to comfortable casual outfits, we design clothes that blend tradition with modern flair.

We are looking for a skilled and creative female tailoring staff to join us. If you have a deep understanding of fabrics, styles, and silhouettes, and love bringing fashion sketches to life, we’d love to meet you!

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a boutique or fashion studio setting.
• Basic knowledge of fabric types and garment construction techniques.
• Malayalam, Hindi, Tamil or basic English communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Stitching garments based on provided patterns and designs for both men and women.
• Skilled in handling a wide variety of ethnic wear such as saree blouses, lehengas, salwar suits, anarkalis, kurtas, sherwanis, and more.
• Experience in western or Indo-western styles is a plus.
• Ability to make minor modifications or improvisations to the design as needed for best fit and style.
• Cutting fabric according to patterns.
• Finishing garments with attention to detail (hemming, lining, trimming, etc.).
• Collaborate with the designer on fittings and alterations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the workspace.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in tailoring garments.
• Ability to understand fashion sketches, measurements, and patterns.
• Creativity and confidence in making design suggestions or changes.
• Proficient in using sewing machines and tailoring tools.
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented.
