Allocation Assist Middle East seeks a Female Consultant in Obstetrics and Gynaecology with subspecialty training in Urogynaecology for a Dubai-based healthcare opportunity. You will deliver comprehensive obstetric and gynecological care while managing pelvic floor disorders using advanced assessments and procedures.

The role requires a MBBS or equivalent, specialist training in OBGYN, and a fellowship in Urogynaecology or Pelvic Floor Reconstruction, with at least 5 years post-specialization

Qualifications

• Medical degree MBBS or equivalent from a recognized institution.
• Completion of specialist training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
• Fellowship or formal subspecialty training in Urogynaecology or Pelvic Floor Reconstruction is mandatory.
• Western-trained education or clinical experience from the UK, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, or equivalent is mandatory.
• Minimum 5 years of post-specialization experience as a Consultant in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, with significant experience in Urogynaecology.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage urogynecological conditions including urinary incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, overactive bladder, and pelvic floor dysfunction.
• Perform comprehensive urogynecological assessments including urodynamic testing, cystoscopy, and pelvic floor evaluation.
• Provide conservative and surgical management for pelvic floor disorders.
• Perform advanced urogynecological procedures including prolapse repair, mid-urethral sling, pelvic reconstructive surgery, hysterectomy, and related procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage urogynecological conditions including female urinary incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, overactive bladder, voiding dysfunction, recurrent urinary tract infections, and pelvic floor dysfunction.
• Perform comprehensive urogynecological assessments, including urodynamic testing, cystoscopy, and pelvic floor evaluation.
• Provide conservative and surgical management for pelvic floor disorders.
• Perform advanced urogynecological procedures, including vaginal and laparoscopic prolapse repair, mid-urethral sling procedures, pelvic reconstructive surgery, hysterectomy, and related pelvic floor procedures when indicated.
• Deliver comprehensive obstetric and general gynaecological care, including outpatient consultations and inpatient management.
• Provide pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative care.
• Counsel patients regarding treatment options, surgical risks, recovery expectations, and long-term management.
• Collaborate with physiotherapists, urologists, colorectal surgeons, radiologists, and other specialists to provide multidisciplinary care.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in accordance with applicable regulatory and hospital standards.
• Participate in departmental quality improvement initiatives, clinical audits, teaching, and research activities.
• Maintain current knowledge of developments in urogynaecology through continuous professional development.

• Demonstrated expertise in advanced pelvic floor surgery and the management of complex urogynecological disorders.
