Job summary

Allocation Assist Middle East seeks a female Consultant OBGYN - Urogynaecology in Dubai, UAE. The role combines advanced pelvic floor assessment, conservative treatment, reconstructive surgery, obstetric and gynecological care in a multidisciplinary team.

The ideal candidate has subspecialty training in Urogynaecology with at least 5 years of post-specialization experience, UAE licensing eligibility, and a commitment to evidence-based, patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• MBBS or equivalent from a recognized institution.
• Completion of specialist training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
• Fellowship or formal subspecialty training in Urogynaecology or Pelvic Floor Reconstruction mandatory.
• Western-trained education and/or clinical experience from UK/USA/Canada/Australia/New Zealand or equivalent is preferred.
• Minimum 5 years post-specialization experience as a Consultant in Obstetrics and Gynaecology with significant Urogynaecology experience.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage female urinary incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, overactive bladder, voiding dysfunction, recurrent urinary tract infections, and pelvic floor dysfunction.
• Conduct comprehensive urogynecological assessments, including urodynamic testing, cystoscopy, and pelvic floor evaluation.
• Provide conservative and surgical management for pelvic floor disorders according to individual patient requirements.
• Perform vaginal and laparoscopic prolapse repair.
• Undertake mid-urethral sling procedures and pelvic reconstructive surgery.
• Perform hysterectomy and related pelvic floor procedures when clinically indicated.
• Deliver comprehensive obstetric and general gynecological care across outpatient and inpatient settings.
• Provide pre-, intra-, and post-operative management.
• Counsel patients regarding treatment options, surgical risks, recovery, and long-term management.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate clinical documentation according to applicable hospital and regulatory standards.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, clinical audits, teaching, and research activities.
• Maintain current knowledge of advances in Urogynaecology through continuous professional development.

Qualifications and Requirements

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree from a recognized institution.
• Completion of specialist training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
• Fellowship or formal subspecialty training in Urogynaecology or Pelvic Floor Reconstruction is mandatory.
• Western-trained education and-or clinical experience from the UK, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, or equivalent is mandatory.
• Minimum 5 years of post-specialization experience as a Consultant in Obstetrics and Gynaecology with significant Urogynaecology experience.
• Appropriate UAE professional license or eligibility for Consultant-level licensing in Dubai.
• Demonstrated expertise in advanced pelvic floor surgery and complex urogynecological disorders.
