A leading hotel chain in Dubai seeks a dedicated professional to ensure optimum service and team collaboration. Responsibilities include staff supervision, training, and maintaining high service standards. Candidates should possess a high school diploma and have at least 2 years of experience, including 1 year in a supervisory role. POSITION SUMMARY
Ensure staff works together as a team to provide optimum service and meet guest needs. Inspect staff grooming and attire, and rectify deficiencies. Complete opening and closing duties, including setting up supplies and tools, cleaning all equipment and areas, and locking doors. Inspect storage areas for organization, use of FIFO, and cleanliness. Complete scheduled inventories and requisition necessary supplies. Monitor dining rooms for seating availability, service, safety, and guest well-being. Complete work orders for maintenance repairs.
Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees. Serve as a role model and first point of contact for the Guarantee of Fair Treatment/Open Door Policy process. Follow all company, safety, and security policies and procedures. Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions; complete safety training and certifications. Ensure uniforms and personal appearances are professional and clean. Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets. Welcome and acknowledge guests according to standards, anticipate and address service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and thank guests sincerely. Communicate clearly and professionally. Develop and maintain positive relationships, support team efforts, and respond to employee concerns appropriately. Adhere to quality standards and suggest improvements to increase efficiency, productivity, safety, and cost savings. Read and verify information in various formats; visually inspect tools and equipment for defects. Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods; move objects weighing up to 50 pounds; perform fine motor tasks; navigate narrow or elevated spaces; climb stairs and ramps; reach overhead and below knees; perform bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. Perform other duties as requested by supervisors.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
Work Experience: At least 2 years of related experience.
Supervisory Experience: At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
License or Certification: None required.
