Job description

Service Attendant is a support role that ensures the smooth running of the restaurant by providing efficient and effective service, maintaining standards, and guaranteeing guest comfort at all times. A high level of product knowledge is necessary to confidently recommend and upsell various products.

Your daily tasks:

  • Welcome, interact, and communicate with guests and colleagues in a courteous, friendly, and clear manner.
  • Prepare and serve guest orders accurately while promoting and upselling all products to maximize sales and meet outlet targets.
  • Liaise with the kitchen and bar team to ensure timely service while verifying guests meet minimum age requirements for alcohol consumption.
  • Clear and clean tables professionally as soon as guests have finished their meals.
  • Maintain stock levels accurately, handle point-of-sale transactions, and ensure the outlet is always clean.
  • Follow and adhere to company Health and Safety policies and train new team members accordingly.

Requirements:

  • Ideally, you have a background in the hotel/F&B industry and have worked as a Service Attendant for at least 1 year in a 3-star or above hotel.
  • Fluent English is required; additional languages are an advantage.
