Job summary

Next Gen Alternative Nicotine Manufacturing Ltd in Abu Dhabi seeks a hands-on maintenance technician to tune jig fixtures, perform preventive checks and fix simple faults on the production line.

You will assist with product changeovers, manage wear parts, and support process improvements with engineers. Basic English and practical mechanical/electromechanical skills are required.

This on-site role emphasizes 5S, quick fault location, and effective communication with line leaders and operators.

Qualifications

• Technical school, secondary technical diploma or above, with a mechanical/electromechanical background.
• 1–2+ years of front-line maintenance or machine-tuning experience in electronics manufacturing.
• Hands-on ability with manual and power tools; soldering iron, hand drill and hex wrenches.
• Basic English communication; reads equipment labels and understands common instructions.

Responsibilities

• Install, debug and maintain production-line jigs and fixtures.
• Respond to process abnormalities and repair simple faults to reduce downtime.
• Assist line leaders during product changeovers and perform initial debugging.
• Regularly inspect and lubricate tools and fixtures to detect hidden faults.
• Manage the requisition and replacement of wear parts and report damaged fixtures.
• Work with engineers to fine-tune fixtures and add poka-yoke devices.
• Maintain a tidy repair toolbox and clean the site after repairs.
• Communicate effectively with line leaders and operators.
