Job summary

MarryBrown UAE is seeking a friendly cashier to join our Abu Dhabi team. You will greet customers, operate POS systems, handle transactions accurately, issue receipts, and balance the cash drawer at shift start and end.

In this role you will respond to menu inquiries, provide quick, professional service, coordinate with kitchen and service staff, and maintain a clean cashier area. A high school diploma and familiarity with POS systems are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience as cashier or in customer service, preferably in fast-food or similar food & beverage environment.
• Familiarity with POS systems.
• Basic mathematics skills with the ability to handle transactions quickly and accurately.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Willingness to work rotational shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
• Customer-focused, reliable, and able to work effectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in a friendly and courteous manner.
• Operate cash registers and POS systems accurately.
• Handle cash, credit card, and other payment transactions.
• Issue receipts and provide correct change.
• Balance the cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift.
• Ensure accuracy and efficiency when processing customer orders and payments.
• Respond to customer inquiries regarding the menu, pricing, and promotions.
• Provide professional and friendly service to ensure a positive customer experience.
• Address customer concerns and report any issues or discrepancies to the supervisor.
• Maintain a clean and organized cashier area.
• Coordinate with kitchen and service staff to ensure smooth order flow.
• Support front-of-house operations as required.
• Follow company policies and procedures related to cash handling, customer service, cleanliness, and operational standards.
