Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year experience as a cashier in a retail environment.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Proficient in using a POS system.
• Attention to detail and ability to handle cash accurately.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
• Fluency in English is required.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers as they enter the store and provide them with a warm welcome.
• Scan and bag items for customers at the checkout counter.
• Process cash, credit, and debit card transactions using a POS system.
• Maintain knowledge of store products, promotions, and policies to answer customer inquiries.
• Keep the checkout area clean and organized.
