Job summary

MOONMAINS in the United Arab Emirates seeks an experienced couture bridal fashion designer to lead and execute high-end wedding gowns from sketch to delivery. The role requires expert pattern making, draping, and handling luxury fabrics, with responsibility for studio production and timely execution.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience with wedding gowns or haute couture, leading atelier teams, and a strong technical background in garment construction.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in wedding gowns or haute couture brands.
• Experience leading atelier or factory production teams.
• Strong technical knowledge in cutting and garment construction.
• Experience working with reputable or luxury fashion brands.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage studio production and tailoring teams.
• Execute custom-made bridal gowns from sketch to final delivery.
• Perform advanced pattern making, draping, and garment cutting.
• Conduct client fittings and precise alterations.
• Work with luxury fabrics (lace, silk, chiffon, tulle, organza, crepe).
• Execute hand embroidery, beading, corsetry construction, and structured bodices.
• Ensure perfect finishing, seams, and garment structure.
• Collaborate closely with design and production teams.
• Supervise junior tailors and seamstresses.
• Maintain strict deadlines while delivering couture-level quality.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Fashion designer specializing in couture bridal gowns. The ideal candidate must have exceptional expertise in understanding and designing of the pattern making, draping, fittings, luxury fabric handling, and couture garment construction, while leading studio production and ensuring flawless execution and timely delivery.
