A leading educational institution in the United Arab Emirates is seeking a Mathematics lecturer to deliver engaging lectures and contribute to curriculum development. The ideal candidate will have a Ph.D. or Master's degree in Mathematics, along with teaching experience and strong research capabilities. Responsibilities include mentoring students, conducting research, and participating in academic committees. This role offers an opportunity to influence student success through innovative teaching methods and scholarly activities.
Deliver high-quality Mathematics lectures to preparatory year students using student-centered and innovative teaching methods.
Develop and implement assessment tools that align with learning outcomes and support student success.
Conduct high-impact research and publish in reputable peer-reviewed journals, both regionally and internationally.
Provide academic advising and mentoring to students, supporting their academic progression.
Engage in curriculum design, continuous improvement, and outcome-based education practices.
Contribute to community outreach and institutional development initiatives.
Participate in department and college-level committees and quality assurance processes.
Stay current in the discipline through research, professional development, and scholarly activity.
Perform any additional academic responsibilities assigned by the Head of the Program.
Ph.D. or Master's degree in Mathematics from an accredited and reputable university.
Additional training in teaching methodologies or higher education instruction is an advantage.
Minimum of 3 years full-time teaching experience in undergraduate or preparatory programs.
Demonstrated ability to engage in scholarly research and publication.
Experience in using digital tools, dashboards, or LMS platforms for teaching and assessment.
Background in handling academic and program coordination responsibilities is desirable.
Excellence in teaching and student engagement.
Strong research capabilities in a specialized area of Mathematics.
Competence in curriculum development, instructional design, and academic mentoring.
Proficiency in using digital educational tools and learning analytics.
Commitment to academic integrity, diversity, and continuous improvement.
