Job Description
- Develop and manage the facilities budget, identifying cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
- Oversee the maintenance and operation of all building systems, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with safety regulations.
- Coordinate vendor contracts and service agreements, ensuring timely and effective service delivery.
- Implement energy management strategies to promote sustainability and reduce operational costs.
- Create and enforce emergency preparedness plans, ensuring staff and occupant safety in all scenarios.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of the facility to identify maintenance needs and compliance issues.
- Facilitate space planning and office layout optimization to enhance productivity and employee satisfaction.
- Manage the procurement of supplies and equipment, ensuring timely availability while adhering to budget constraints.
- Lead and mentor a team of maintenance staff, fostering a culture of safety, efficiency, and professionalism.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all facility-related inquiries, ensuring clear communication with stakeholders.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in facility management, engineering, or a related field, providing a strong foundation for the role.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in facility management, demonstrating a proven track record of success in the industry.
- Proficiency in facility management software and tools, enabling efficient operations and data analysis.
- Strong project management skills, with a demonstrated ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously.
- Fluency in English is required; additional language skills are a plus for multicultural environments.
- Problem-solving aptitude and critical thinking skills to address challenges swiftly and effectively.
- A proactive and detail-oriented approach, ensuring that no aspect of facility management is overlooked.
