Confidential in the UAE is seeking an experienced facilities leader to manage head office and branch operations, ensuring safe, reliable, and cost-effective environments to support banking operations.

The role oversees fit-outs, maintenance programs, workplace services, security, vendor management, and data-powered facility analytics, with a focus on health, safety, and business continuity under UAE regulations.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in facility management or corporate real estate within banking/financial services
• Senior leadership experience of a facility management team
• Strong knowledge of health, safety, building, security, and record-retention standards
• Exposure to AI-enabled building monitoring and digital workplace tooling

Responsibilities

• Coordinate site fit-out, furnishing, signage, utilities activation, and handover against launch milestones
• Operate preventive and corrective maintenance programs for building systems (HVAC, power, lighting, life-safety)
• Manage day-to-day workplace services (cleaning, mailroom, pantry, space/desk management, meeting facilities)
• Implement UAE health-and-safety procedures, inspections, drills, records, and closure of findings
• Coordinate physical-security arrangements (access control, CCTV, guarding, key management, visitors)
• Manage facilities vendors, service contracts, SLAs, invoices, and cost improvements
• Track facilities spend, maintain floor plans, asset registers, permits, warranties, service records
• Support business continuity, evacuation plans, facility-incident response, alternate-site arrangements
• Use smart-building/AI-enabled monitoring tools for utilization, energy, equipment health, and reporting

Role Purpose:

Manages facilities operations, premises maintenance, and workplace services across head office and branches. Helps ensure sites are safe, reliable, cost-effective, and ready to support Day-1 banking operations.

Key responsibilities:

• Coordinate site fit-out, furnishing, signage, utilities activation, and handover activities against launch milestones.
• Operate preventive and corrective maintenance programs for building systems and equipment, including HVAC, power, lighting, and life-safety systems.
• Manage day-to-day workplace services, including cleaning, mailroom, pantry, space and desk management, and meeting facilities.
• Implement health-and-safety procedures, inspections, drills, records, and prompt closure of findings in line with applicable UAE requirements.
• Coordinate physical-security arrangements, including access control, CCTV, guarding, key management, and visitor procedures.
• Manage facilities vendors and service contracts, monitor SLAs and work quality, validate invoices, and drive performance and cost improvement.
• Track facilities spend against budget and maintain accurate floor plans, asset registers, permits, warranties, and service records.
• Support business continuity and emergency preparedness, including evacuation plans, facility-incident response, and alternate-site arrangements.
• Use approved smart-building and AI-enabled monitoring tools for utilization, energy, equipment health, work-order triage, and reporting, validating data and outputs.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 6+ years in facility management or corporate real estate operations within banking or financial services, including senior leadership of a facility management team.
• Deep expertise in site fit-out, building maintenance, workplace services, facilities vendor management, health and safety, and physical security coordination.
• Proven record building facilities operating procedures, maintenance programs, site-readiness plans, and vendor controls in a regulated environment.
• Strong knowledge of relevant CBUAE expectations where applicable and UAE health, safety, building, physical-security, and record-retention standards.
• Exposure to AI-enabled building monitoring, CAFM or digital workplace tooling, and advanced facilities and space-utilization analytics.

Qualifications & Certifications (Preferred)

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in facility management, engineering, or a related field preferred.
• Facility-management or health-and-safety certification preferred.
• CBUAE Fit & Proper requirements and any applicable controlled-function eligibility criteria, where required.
