Job Description
- Coordinate daily facility operations by managing maintenance schedules, ensuring that all equipment and systems are functioning optimally.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for facility-related inquiries, effectively addressing concerns from staff and visitors.
- Oversee vendor relationships, negotiating contracts and ensuring compliance with service level agreements to maintain quality service.
- Implement and monitor safety protocols, conducting regular inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Manage space allocation and office layouts, optimizing the use of available space to enhance employee productivity.
- Assist in budgeting for facility operations, tracking expenses, and identifying cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
- Coordinate logistics for events and meetings, ensuring that all necessary resources are available and setup is completed on time.
- Develop and maintain facility management software systems for tracking maintenance requests and inventory management.
- Create and enforce facility policies and procedures, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment for all employees.
- Support sustainability initiatives by implementing energy-efficient practices and promoting waste reduction throughout the facility.
Desired Candidate Profile
- A bachelor's degree in facility management, business administration, or a related field is preferred for a solid foundation in operational principles.
- At least 3-5 years of experience in facility management or a related role, showcasing a proven track record of successful facility operations.
- Experience in a corporate or commercial setting is preferred, highlighting a deep understanding of diverse facility needs.
- Familiarity with building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards to ensure compliance across all operations.
