Job description

Ø Review project documentation, including drawing specifications to prepare detailed cost estimates.

Ø Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and subcontractors, obtaining quotes and assessing their reliability.

Ø Develop and maintain cost databases for various facility management services and materials.

Ø Collaborate with project managers and engineering teams to clarify project requirements and timelines.

Ø Prepare and submit comprehensive tender documents in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with client specifications.

Ø Analyze bid results and provide recommendations for competitive pricing strategies.

Ø Monitor and evaluate the bidding process, adjusting estimates as necessary based on project developments.

Ø Maintain relationships with clients, ensuring clear communication throughout the tendering process.

Ø Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and best practices to enhance estimation accuracy.

Purpose & Scope

To accurately prepare cost estimates and tender submissions for facility management projects, enhancing the company’s competitiveness and client satisfaction.

Minimum Requirements
  1. Bachelors’ degree in construction management, engineering, facilities management, or related field.
  2. Proven experience in estimating and tendering for facility management projects.
  3. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  4. Proficiency in estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  5. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  6. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Desired Candidate Profile
  1. Knowledge of facility management practices and standards.
  2. Familiarity with local building codes and regulations.
  3. Project management experience is a plus.
