Job summary

Aldar Academies in Abu Dhabi seeks a Facilities & General Services leader to oversee school facilities, housing and support services. You will drive a service culture, supervise site teams and ensure safety, maintenance and compliance across the campus and staff accommodation.

Role requires a Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years in health & safety, experience in education or hospitality, and strong English communication. Knowledge of local regulations and procurement processes is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Related industry qualification at graduate level for the assigned area.
• Certificate of Facilities Management / NEBOSH.

Responsibilities

• Deliver facilities and general services across the School.
• Ensure service culture with timely staff and resource deployment.
• Maintain school facilities and company housing to high standards of cleanliness, maintenance and safety.
• Oversee staff housing per Aldar Education housing policy and allowances.
• Oversee cost-efficient purchasing and contracting per school budget and Aldar policies.
• Manage repairs and maintenance, appoint external providers when needed, and follow up on deficiencies.
• Ensure site security and daily site checks, upholding HSE standards and cleanliness.
• Implement policies, processes and safeguarding measures with Aldar Education HQ.
• Plan and resource school events and activities in a timely manner.
• Coordinate central services (catering, security, maintenance, cleaning, transport, waste) and liaise with external providers.
• Support space utilization and premises re-organization as needed.
• Monitor daily BMS systems where installed with the site services team.
• Support procurement and maintenance of staff accommodation to Aldar standards.
