We are seeking a highly capable and experienced Senior Facilities Manager to oversee operations across multiple sites and countries within the UAE and beyond. The ideal candidate will possess a strong engineering background, exceptional communication skills, and proven experience managing multinational clients and large operational teams under high-pressure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage end-to-end facilities operations across multiple countries and client sites.
- Serve as the primary liaison with multinational clients, balancing diplomacy and assertiveness to meet client and business needs.
- Supervise large teams including technicians and housekeeping staff; ensure proper deployment, shift planning, and adherence to cleaning protocols (e.g., color coding).
- Oversee the maintenance and troubleshooting of MEP systems, including HVAC (Chillers, FAHU/AHU, split units), electrical systems, plumbing, and rotary equipment.
- Analyze equipment failures, conduct root cause analysis (RCA), and present comprehensive technical reports to clients.
- Prepare and deliver detailed dashboards and performance reports regularly.
- Ensure service availability 24/7 for critical operations across all managed sites.
- Collaborate with client points-of-contact across different operational companies (OpCos) to deliver site-specific solutions.
- Manage commercial aspects of projects, including budgeting and P&L responsibility.
- Provide strategic input for optimizing operational efficiency and technical improvements.
- Maintain flexibility in work hours to align with site and client requirements.
- Travel regularly to scattered site locations across the UAE – a valid UAE driving license is mandatory.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (preferably Mechanical); knowledge of all MEP systems is essential.
- Minimum 5+ years of facilities management experience in the UAE; experience in manufacturing environments is a plus.
- Strong technical acumen with ability to troubleshoot and advise on-site technicians.
- Demonstrated experience managing critical operations and conveyance systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to engage effectively with clients and internal teams.
- Strong reporting skills, with experience in creating and managing dashboard reports.
- Experience in project financials including budgeting and P&L management.
