Facilities Manager

As Facilities Manager (UAE National) at Wio Bank PJSC, you will lead the planning, execution, and governance of all facilities management operations, ensuring secure, efficient, and regulatory-compliant environments across Wio locations. You will play a critical role in maintaining operational resilience, workplace safety, and service excellence in line with UAE financial sector standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Facilities Management:

• Develop and implement a strategic facilities plan aligned with Wio’s operational needs and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee maintenance, security, cleaning, office safety, and physical asset management across all Wio premises.
• Lead office planning initiatives, including office fit-outs, workspace optimization, and future capacity planning.

Operational Resilience & Security:

• Manage building access systems, security protocols, and disaster recovery readiness in line with Central Bank of UAE (CBUAE) expectations and Wio’s internal security policies.
• Ensure critical infrastructure (UPS, data centers, secure rooms) is maintained to minimize operational risks.

Vendor and Contractor Oversight:

• Manage third-party service providers for maintenance, cleaning, security, and specialized facilities services.
• Ensure robust vendor performance management, SLAs, and compliance with Wio’s procurement and outsourcing governance.

Budget & Financial Oversight:

• Prepare and manage the annual facilities budget, including forecasting, cost control, and financial reporting.
• Optimize facilities-related costs while maintaining high standards of safety, security, and employee experience.

Regulatory Compliance & Health, Safety, Environment (HSE):

• Ensure all facilities operations comply with UAE federal laws, CBUAE guidelines, Dubai/Abu Dhabi Municipality regulations, and HSE standards.
• Conduct regular site inspections, internal audits, and lead remediation activities for any identified gaps.

Sustainability Initiatives:

• Promote energy efficiency, green building practices, and waste reduction initiatives in line with Wio’s ESG goals.

Emergency & Crisis Management:

• Act as the Facilities lead in emergency situations, ensuring evacuation, incident management, and coordination with civil defense, police, and other authorities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related discipline.
• Professional certification preferred (e.g., Certified Facility Manager [CFM], Facilities Management Professional [FMP], or similar).
• 5+ years’ experience in facilities or property management, preferably within a regulated financial services environment.
• Knowledge of UAE building codes, civil defense standards, and banking operational resilience best practices.
• Strong vendor management, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and facility management/CAFMS systems (e.g., Archibus, Planon, or equivalent).
