Oversee the efficient and cost-effective delivery of both Soft and Hard FM services (e.g., cleaning, security, waste management, maintenance, and building services).
- Ensure that FM services are in line with organizational goals, meeting all statutory and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Monitor and manage the maintenance and repair of facilities and assets to ensure operational efficiency.
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the FM team, assigning tasks, setting objectives, and tracking performance.
Budgeting, TENDERING & Cost Management:
Develop, implement, and monitor the FM budget to ensure cost-effectiveness and service quality.
Prepare cost estimations and ensure that all activities are performed within budget, taking corrective action as necessary to stay on track.
- Liaise with contractors, service providers, and vendors to ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are met and the quality of service is consistently high.
- Negotiate and manage contracts, ensuring the best value and performance from suppliers.
- Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders to understand requirements and provide appropriate solutions.
- Lead, train, and mentor a diverse team of FM professionals across various disciplines, ensuring continuous improvement.
- Foster a culture of high performance, accountability, and collaboration within the FM team.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to ensure continuous improvement.
Desired Candidate Profile
Qualifications & Experience:
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
Relevant certifications in FM, such as RICS, BIFM, or IFMA, are a plus. - Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in Facilities Management, including managing both Soft and Hard FM services.
Proven experience in leading and managing FM teams, contractors, and service providers.
Strong background in overseeing building maintenance, cleaning, waste management, security, and other essential FM services.
