Role Purpose

The role holder is responsible for conducting site inspections to ensure performance standards & procedures of FM Services providers performance is in line with FM contract scope of work. The role holder is responsible for scheduling inspections and generating WOs for deviations notices. Report generation for compliance status and reporting the same to site manager in a timely manner is one of the key functions of this role. Support FM team with civil and landscaping CAPEX projects scoping, tendering, project, and snagging.

Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities

  1. Assist in preparation of scope of works for (civil & landscape) CAPEX projects in coordination with TECOM Sr. Executive/FMSPs/and landscaping Manager.
  2. Carry out site visits with contractors for civil/landscaping CAPEX works to ensure scope is clear to all the vendors.
  3. Assist TECOM Sr. Executive/FMSPs/and landscaping Manager for PR issuance and evaluation of quotes received.
  4. Assist FM executives with inspection of civil CAPEX works to ensure quality and provide weekly reports on progress/delays/issues.
  5. Assist Landscaping Manager with inspection of landscaping CAPEX works to ensure quality and provide reports on progress/delays/issues during and snagging of the works on completion of the project.
  6. Management of CAPEX projects and reporting from project initiation to completion with T&C and relevant documentation to be filed.
  7. Support Facility Manager to manage site operations when FM Executives are on leave.
  8. Snagging of the works on completion of the project.
  9. Follow up with departments audit reports including processes updates.

Knowledge & Experience

Minimum Qualification: Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or equivalent qualification. Facilities Management field Inspection is preferred.

Experience: At least 3-5 years of previous experience in FM Industry experience in monitoring contracts performance and building inspection in a similar field. Experience in operations and maintenance monitoring of assets condition and reports on non-compliances. Progress/Technical writing reporting and correspondence as per standards.

Technical Competencies

Job Specific Skills: Facilities Management, Maintenance and Operations Management, Project Management, Risk Analysis, Quality Assurance. Fluent English; Arabic is a plus. Strong written and oral communication skills in English language. Excellent multitasking skills. Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision. Excellent problem-solving skills. Detail-oriented and highly organized.

Key Software Knowledge: Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
