We are looking for a highly skilled Structural Engineer with experience in managing high-rise building projects in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of structural engineering principles and site operations, with an exciting opportunity to contribute to iconic skyscrapers in a dynamic construction environment.

Role Overview

The Facilities Engineer will oversee facility maintenance, lead a small team, and coordinate with specialist vendors. Responsibilities include planning resources, auditing services, developing maintenance procedures, and acting as the Approved/Authorized Person for risk assessments and permits. The role requires hands-on technical work and relationship building with key stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for all Facilities Systems
• Develop and monitor policies, procedures, and protocols for facilities services
• Support maintenance activities with engineering expertise
• Perform Authorized Person duties for facilities systems
• Prepare management reports, estimates, and quotations for projects
• Coordinate and supervise staff, consultants, and contractors
• Perform manual maintenance on all MEP assets
• Develop auditing processes in line with standards
• Ensure delivery of all maintenance tasks as per service requirements
• Coordinate with external parties and conduct surveys
• Develop risk assessments, method statements, and ensure safety compliance
• Maintain relationships with clients and respond to issues
• Ensure compliance with regulations and legislation
• Develop training programs for technical staff
• Understand electrical, facilities, and electronic systems
• Manage personnel issues and attendance
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Degree in Facilities Engineering
• 10+ years’ maintenance experience
• 3+ years’ team management experience
• Experience in Rail/Metro projects is advantageous
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
