Job summary

Wasael Property Management is seeking a civil maintenance professional to oversee maintenance across facilities in the UAE. The role requires on-site supervision of civil works, inspections, and coordination with contractors to ensure safety and quality.

The ideal candidate will bring hands-on supervision experience in FM operations, plus additional facilities engineering background, and will contribute to preventive and reactive maintenance programs.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering or Building Maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections and assessments of civil assets including walls, floors, roofing, waterproofing, and external works.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance programs and execute minor civil repairs across operational sites.
• Review civil work requests, assess scope and urgency, and assign tasks accordingly.
• Supervise and verify work executed by contractors, ensuring compliance with specifications and safety standards.
• Ensure timely completion of reactive maintenance tasks and proper documentation of service records in CAFM systems.
• Collaborate with QHSE and soft services to maintain cleanliness, safety, and accessibility of facilities.
• Assist the FM Manager in preparing technical reports, maintenance logs, and vendor performance feedback.

This role is responsible for ensuring the structural integrity and aesthetic quality of buildings through preventive and corrective maintenance activities, aligned with safety standards and operational objectives.

Job Requirements

• 5–8 years in civil maintenance within FM operations, with hands‑on supervision experience.5+ years in facilities engineering, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or shift lead role.
