Job summary

Meraki Group in Dubai is seeking a proactive Facade Safety Officer to oversee safety compliance for façade installation on construction sites. You will conduct risk assessments, lead incident investigations, provide toolbox talks, and help develop safe work procedures while maintaining documentation and promoting a strong safety culture.

The role requires minimum 3 years of experience in safety, a relevant health and safety qualification, and strong knowledge of construction safety standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a safety officer, preferably in façade or construction.
• Strong knowledge of construction safety standards and regulations.
• NEBOSH, IOSH or equivalent certifications preferred.
• Excellent observation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and enforce safety protocols effectively.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and enforce compliance with safety regulations and company safety policies specific to façade installation.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and audits on façade works to identify hazards and ensure mitigations.
• Lead incident investigations related to façade activities and recommend corrective actions.
• Provide safety orientations and toolbox talks for façade workers and subcontractors.
• Collaborate with site management to develop safe work procedures and emergency response plans related to façade operations.
• Maintain safety documentation including reports, records, and safety plans.
• Promote a positive safety culture among all façade construction personnel.
