Job summary

Shapoorji Pallonji International FZE in Dubai seeks an experienced Facade Manager to oversee design coordination, construction, and maintenance of high-rise facades. You will lead a technical team, coordinate with architects, designers, contractors, and authorities to meet quality standards and deadlines.

The role requires a Civil Engineering degree and 18–25 years of global GCC high-rise exposure, with at least 10 years on fast-track projects.

Job description

The Façade Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of façade construction and maintenance for a construction project. This includes coordinating with architects, designers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure the façade meets quality standards and deadlines.

Desired Candidate Profile

Guide and manage the technical team on design coordination for facade works.

• Plan and execute facade packages from conception to completion within tight time constraints.

• Ensure full compliance with UAE fire-safety guidelines and all related authority requirements.

• Develop acceleration and delay-cover-up programs to meet project requirements.

• Manage material approvals, technical submittals, and method statements based on site specifications and industry standards.

• Handle large-scale high-rise building project independently, in alignment with organizational needs.

• Build and lead a team, providing resources and training to optimize performance in their respective roles.

• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, client representatives, and authorities to secure necessary approvals and resolve commercial issues.

• Maintain project harmony throughout the construction span and ensure smooth site operations.

• Involve in pre-construction engineering to foresee potential issues and resolve them early to avoid design & construction delays.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Graduate degree in Civil Engineering with 18–25 years of experience, of which a minimum of 10 years must be on GCC fast-track high-rise building projects.

• Strong technical expertise in facade design and construction.
