Job summary

SARCO FOR ELECTROMECHANICAL WORKS AND GENERAL MAIN MAINTENANCE - SOLE PROPRIETORSHIP L.L.C. is seeking an experienced facade glazing specialist to install and replace facade glass panels on high-rise projects in the Abu Dhabi area.

The role requires 5+ years in facade glass and aluminium works, with strong skills in structural glazing and silicone application. The candidate will work at heights, read shop drawings, and ensure adherence to safety procedures and project specifications.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in facade glass and aluminium works.
• Strong experience in structural glazing and silicone application.
• Knowledge of weatherproof and structural silicone systems.
• Experience in glass replacement for high-rise buildings is an advantage.
• Ability to work at heights and follow safety procedures.
• Physically fit and able to work in outdoor environments.

Responsibilities

• Install and replace facade glass panels safely and accurately.
• Apply structural and weatherproof silicone in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
• Install and replace backer rods, gaskets and related facade sealing materials.
• Carry out silicone repair, re-sealing and facade waterproofing works.
• Perform glass alignment, adjustment and finishing works.
• Ensure all installations comply with project specifications and quality standards.
• Work safely at heights using BMUs, cradles, scaffolding or other approved access systems.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Coordinate with supervisors and site engineers to complete works on schedule.
