Job Title: Facade Systems Engineer

Objectives:

Hands-on preparation and production of project plans and specifications. Oversee the calculation of material quantity requirements, preparation of routine estimating data, gathering & compiling data for bid proposals, production of CADD drawings, and all other project documents.

Main Responsibilities:

1. Review project documents, identify the scope of work, and determine design requirements.
2. Develop design concepts and shop drawings for all types of façade systems using AutoCAD (Stick, semi-unitized, and unitized curtain walls, cladding, doors, and windows).
3. Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and technical documentation for all façade systems.
4. Propose suitable aluminium systems and designs in line with customer requirements, project specifications, and design intent.
5. Ensure compliance with project and performance requirements.
6. Attend client meetings, present, and review designs accordingly. Maintain files of working documents as backups.

Desired Candidate Profile:

1. Based in UAE.
2. 5-10 years of relevant experience within the aluminium façade industry.
3. Technical knowledge of aluminium & glass products (preferred).
4. Organized and structured approach to workload and management of multiple inquiries.
5. Experience with LOGIKAL software.
6. CRM experience.
7. Excellent knowledge of MS Office and Excel.
8. Proficient in English, both verbal and written.
9. Exceptional time management skills.
10. Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Civil/Architectural Engineering.
