Job summary

CyberSecIT is seeking an experienced F5 Engineer for a short-term contract in Abu Dhabi, UAE. You will own end-to-end delivery of enterprise F5 BIG-IP solutions, including LTM, AWAF, DNS (GTM), AFM, and APM, ensuring high availability and secure connectivity.

The role requires 4+ years in F5 BIG-IP administration and strong TCP/IP/SSL/TLS expertise. You will collaborate with network, security, and infrastructure teams and contribute to documentation and incident RCA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Telecommunications Engineering, or related technical discipline.
• 4+ years of hands-on F5 BIG-IP administration, load balancing and network security.
• Strong operational expertise across F5 LTM, AWAF, DNS (GTM), AFM and APM modules.
• Proficient in TCP/IP networking, SSL/TLS encryption, and application delivery protocols.
• Experience with high-availability (HA) clustering, firmware upgrades, and RCA.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes, change management, and security compliance.
• Excellent technical documentation and stakeholder communication skills.
• Legal work authorization and availability for short-term Abu Dhabi, UAE engagements.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, configure, test, and maintain enterprise F5 BIG-IP solutions across multi-vendor networks.
• Manage end-to-end project delivery including upgrades, backups, HA, and disaster recovery.
• Provide L2/L3 technical support and rapid incident troubleshooting with root-cause analysis.
• Configure F5 LTM, including virtual servers, pools, health monitors, and SSL termination.
• Administer F5 AWAF to deploy security policies and mitigate layer 7 attacks.
• Deploy F5 DNS (GTM) for global load balancing and wide IP management.
• Configure F5 AFM policies and manage network security controls.
• Administer F5 APM for secure remote access and MFA integration.
• Troubleshoot complex network and application delivery issues; maintain documentation.
