Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly attitude.
Escort guests to their tables and provide menus.
Manage table reservations, walk-ins, and waitlists using reservation systems.
Coordinate seating to balance workloads among service staff.
Respond to guest inquiries and accommodate special requests whenever possible.
Maintain a professional appearance and uphold the hotel’s grooming standards.
Provide accurate wait times and monitor dining flow.
Communicate efficiently with restaurant staff to ensure smooth operations.
Assist with menu knowledge and promote daily specials or hotel events.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the hostess stand and entrance area.
Handle guest feedback with professionalism and relay concerns to management.
Prior experience as a hostess or in a customer-facing role, preferably in a hotel or upscale restaurant.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Friendly, poised, and professional demeanor.
Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
Fluent in English; knowledge of additional languages is beneficial.
