Job description

As an F&B Cashier, you will be responsible for processing guest orders, handling payments, and providing excellent customer service in food and beverage outlets. Your accuracy and attention to detail will ensure smooth transactions and guest satisfaction.

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Accurately process guest orders for food and beverages.
  • Ensure that orders are prepared and served promptly and accurately.
  • Receive payments from guests, including cash, credit/debit cards, and other forms of payment.
  • Calculate bills and provide correct change.
  • Maintain cash registers and ensure they are balanced at the end of each shift.
  • Provide excellent customer service, including greeting guests, answering questions, and addressing concerns.
  • Ensure a positive dining experience for guests.
  • Have a good understanding of the menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods.
  • Assist guests with menu selections and special requests.
  • Generate accurate bills for guests and provide itemized receipts.
  • Verify the completeness of bills and ensure they reflect the correct orders.
  • Adhere to cash handling procedures and financial regulations.
  • Report any discrepancies or issues to the F&B Supervisor or head of food and beverage.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the cashier area.
  • Assist in restocking supplies as needed.
  • Collaborate with the F&B team, and other team members to ensure efficient service.
  • Operate in a safe and environmentally friendly manner, prioritizing guests' and colleagues' health and safety, as well as environmental conservation.
  • Adhere to hotel environmental, health, and safety procedures and policies.
