A luxury hotel in Dubai is seeking a Food and Beverage Outlet Manager to oversee service operations, train and manage staff, and ensure guest satisfaction. Overview
- Provide hands-on support, direction and assistance to colleagues on all areas of their assigned duties ensuring highest levels of service and courtesy are provided to guests.
- Handle guest complaints according to policy.
- Opening team leader to ensure table, flowers, mise en place is well prepared.
- Assist in training, supervising and disciplining all outlet colleagues.
- Possess management ability that ensures a successful handling of the outlets.
- Conduct team briefing and training as delegated by the Outlet Manager/assistant.
- Perform opening and closing duties as when required ensuring that the outlet will be ready for the business opening.
- Take extra initiative to drive revenue, ideas and training needs.
- Monitor the stations, sequence of service and efficiency.
- Handle inventories directly involved with the operation of the outlet.
- Utilize the computer system in ringing, printing and closing checks as well as shift reports.
- Handle and report employee and guest accidents.
Candidate Profile
- High school Diploma.
- A total of 4-5 years Food and Beverage experience.
- 2 years minimum in a similar role in a 5 * international environment.
- Train the Trainer, Up-selling skills training, HACCP.
- Experience working in a multi cultural environment.
- Organized and well planned.
- Able to work with speed and efficiency throughout maintaining positive attitude.
- Basic knowledge in financial aspects of outlet operations.
- Knowledge of Micros Point of Sale system.
- Able to manage colleagues with friendly and professional manner.
