Job Description
  1. Greet and serve customers in a friendly and professional manner.
  2. Take food and beverage orders and relay them to the kitchen or bar staff.
  3. Serve food and beverages to guests, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  4. Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining and service areas.
  5. Assist in setting up dining rooms or banquet halls for events.
  6. Handle guest inquiries and complaints promptly and courteously.
  7. Upsell menu items and promote specials to guests.
  8. Follow all safety and sanitation procedures.
  9. Handle cash and process payments from guests.
  10. Operate and maintain point-of-sale systems.
  11. Assist in inventory management and restocking supplies.
  12. Participate in training programs and continuous learning opportunities.
  13. Assist in planning and executing special events or promotions.
  14. Provide input and feedback on menu selections and customer preferences.
  15. Participate in meetings and briefings with management and colleagues.
  16. Adhere to grooming and dress code standards.
  17. Assist in training new team members.
  18. Collaborate with other departments such as kitchen staff, housekeeping, and front desk to ensure a seamless guest experience.
Qualifications
  1. High school diploma or equivalent.
  2. Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred.
  3. Strong communication and customer service skills.
  4. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
  5. Knowledge of food and beverage menus and basic culinary skills.
  6. Ability to work well as part of a team.
  7. Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
