Job Description

Summary: Provide exceptional service to guests during banquets and events by ensuring efficient and professional food and beverage service. Assist in setting up and breaking down banquet areas, and deliver a positive guest experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Service: Greet and assist guests courteously and professionally. Serve food and beverages according to banquet/event specifications.
  2. Setup & Cleanup: Prepare banquet areas, including setting tables, arranging chairs, linens, and tableware. Clean and reset tables and banquet spaces as needed.
  3. Coordination: Collaborate closely with banquet staff and kitchen team to ensure timely and accurate delivery of food and beverages.
  4. Guest Interaction: Address guest inquiries and requests promptly and effectively. Handle issues or complaints with professionalism and tact.
  5. Compliance: Follow all health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and sanitation practices.
  6. Support: Assist with event setup and breakdown, including moving furniture and equipment as required.

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Opera
  • Ability to focus on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Hospitality background preferred
  • Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus
