The opportunity

We are seeking experienced strategy professionals to join our growing team in MENA at the Manager level. As part of EY Parthenon Strategy, you will deliver impactful projects in the region and develop your career through diverse engagements, mentoring, and formal learning.

Your key responsibilities

As a Manager in strategy consulting, you will participate in work streams and engagements, translating client needs into project tasks and deliverables. You will collaborate closely with clients to define objectives and scope, in consultation with seniors.

You will primarily work on strategy projects, including long-term strategy roadmaps, growth strategies, market entry & expansion, go-to-market strategies, and greenfield projects. Your clients may include governments, public health entities, hospitals, healthcare providers, private sector institutions, and other significant regional clients. The team often works directly with C-suite executives on strategic and transactional decisions.

Skills and attributes for success

You should be able to:

  • Develop business strategies using tools such as market analysis, customer research, macroeconomic forecasting, and portfolio optimization.
  • Review transaction rationale and deal documents to identify critical issues and risks.
  • Analyze large amounts of qualitative and quantitative data to create realistic plans, goals, and actions.
  • Motivate and mentor junior team members with diverse backgrounds.

To qualify for the role you must have:

  • A bachelor’s degree from a top-ranking school with excellent academic performance, and 4-6 years of strategy consulting experience.
  • Experience in strategic projects and client advisory within professional services or similar sectors.
  • Ability to assess industries, markets, competitors, and customers to identify risks and opportunities.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel within the MENA region (about 25-50%).

Ideally, you’ll also have:

  • An MBA or Master’s from a top-tier business school.
  • Excellent problem-solving, project management, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Full fluency in Arabic, both written and spoken.
