External Auditor

Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and dependable External Audit Support Specialist to join our audit team and contribute to the successful execution of external audits across diverse industries. This role is instrumental in ensuring efficient audit workflows by supporting documentation, financial data analysis, and client coordination throughout the audit lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

1. Support audit teams in organizing and maintaining audit documentation, working papers, and related reports.
2. Liaise with client representatives to collect financial records, confirmations, and other relevant documentation.
3. Assist in the preparation of financial statements in accordance with applicable standards.
4. Conduct preliminary analytical reviews and data validations to support audit conclusions.
5. Track the progress of audit fieldwork and provide regular updates to audit supervisors.
6. Ensure adherence to auditing standards, internal procedures, and regulatory guidelines.
7. Assist in drafting final audit reports and follow up on outstanding audit items.
8. Uphold strict confidentiality and data integrity across all client interactions and documentation.

Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (or currently pursuing one).
2. 3–4 years of relevant experience in accounting, finance, or audit support.
3. Solid understanding of external audit procedures, financial reporting standards, and documentation requirements.
4. Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; familiarity with audit tools is a strong advantage.
5. Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team.
7. Meticulous attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Qualified in a professional accounting designation (e.g., ACCA, CA).
2. Prior experience supporting external audit engagements within a public accounting firm.
3. Working knowledge of major accounting systems such as SAP or Oracle.
