Job Description

My Client is a large international service company who is expanding rapidly with the growth of the business.

Due to expansion, they are searching for an Exploration Senior Geologist to support the drilling exploration operations in Abu Dhabi for a 12-month renewable contract on a residential basis.

The Senior Exploration Geologist will be required to:

1. Work closely with the end clients' Petrophysics team and define input parameters.
2. QA/QC of all data to lead prospect maturation.
3. Review existing lead/prospect interpretation and undertake new seismic interpretations.
4. Undertake volumes and risking using GeoX.
5. Review the exploration portfolio to verify small leads.
6. Prepare prospect summary sheets.
7. Mentor juniors.

Requirements:

• Must have 20 years of experience in exploration activities.
• Must have past experience in Abu Dhabi fields.

The position is a residential position for the Geologist to be based in Abu Dhabi on a full-time basis.
