Job summary

Ethos is seeking experienced technical operations leads to help train a language model on professional documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks. This fully remote role offers flexible 5-20 hours per week with ASAP start.

You will own production capacity planning, BOM packages, and quality control processes, applying expert document and data craftsmanship and ensuring clear written communication across tasks.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in engineering, manufacturing, or technical operations, with direct ownership of production capacity planning, bill of materials packages, or quality control processes.
• Working knowledge of root cause failure analysis, equipment maintenance planning, and the supplier qualification standards used in regulated manufacturing environments.
• Expert-level document, spreadsheet, and slide craftsmanship, with excellent written communication and attention to detail.

About This Opportunity

We're working with a leading foundational AI lab to find experienced technical operations leads who can help train their latest language model on professional document, spreadsheet, and slide deck tasks.

We're looking for technical operations leads with 5+ years in engineering, manufacturing, or technical operations management to create, evaluate, and refine AI-generated documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks across core workflows: production capacity models, bill of materials packages, root cause failure analysis reports, equipment maintenance schedules, quality control inspection checklists, and supplier qualification packages.

Compensation: $90/hour

Commitment: Flexible, 5-20 hours per week (or more if desired)

Location: Fully remote, work on your own schedule

Start date: ASAP
