Ethos is seeking experienced staff accountants to train and refine AI-generated documents, spreadsheets, and slides across core workflows, with a focus on monthly close, audit support, and PBC documentation.

You will own close reconciliations and audit schedules, applying GAAP and strict control testing standards while delivering precise, well-crafted financial artifacts remotely.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of corporate accounting, financial operations, or audit support with close reconciliations ownership.
• Fluent with GAAP, PBC standards, and spreadsheet-based control testing (Excel/Sheets).
• Strong written communication and detail oriented document/spreadsheet/slide work.

Responsabilités

• Train AI models to generate accurate financial documents, spreadsheets and slides.
• Evaluate and refine AI outputs for monthly close, audit schedules, and PBC workpapers.
• Ensure SOX-related documentation and controls are properly maintained.

About This Opportunity

We're working with a leading foundational AI lab to find experienced staff accountants who can help train their latest language model on professional document, spreadsheet, and slide deck tasks.

We're looking for staff accountants with 5+ years in corporate accounting, financial operations, or audit support to create, evaluate, and refine AI-generated documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks across core workflows: monthly close reconciliations and journal entry packages, audit request schedules and PBC documentation, accounts payable and receivable aging reports, budget-to-actual variance summaries, internal control walkthroughs and SOX testing memos, and vendor and expense audit trail spreadsheets.

Compensation: $80/hour

Commitment: Flexible, 5-20 hours per week (or more if desired)

Location: Fully remote, work on your own schedule

Start date: ASAP
