Expert Global Aid & Relief Pricing

DHL Global Forwarding, Freight (DGFF) is the Group's air, ocean, and road freight specialist, offering standardized and highly specialized end-to-end solutions globally.

Position: Expert Global Aid & Relief Pricing in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

Responsibilities:
  • Implement OFR pricing strategy and respond to pricing inquiries efficiently and competitively.
  • Monitor and update local tariffs accurately.
  • Develop RFQ for high-priority requests, including guidance and launch calls for critical RFQs.
  • Assist in tender development and ensure timely submission of documents.
  • Maintain databases for quick network queries.
  • Build relationships with customers, networks, and carriers.
  • Prepare carrier performance reports.
  • Identify opportunities for cost-effective pricing and negotiate rates.
  • Stay updated on new solutions, services, and traffic developments.
  • Support and guide less experienced team members.
  • Resolve day-to-day delivery issues and improve OFR pricing practices.
Stakeholders:
  • Collaborate with other departments and external service providers.
  • Influence and build trust across functions and countries.
  • Understand stakeholder interests and advise accordingly.
Management Responsibilities:
  • Manage up to two employees or oversee processes and programs.
  • Coach and review work of lower-level professionals.
Candidate Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in Aid/Relief shipping lines or competitors, with more than 4 years of experience.
