Job summary

LIMAH in Dubai is seeking a mid-level Experiential & Wayfinding Designer to support our design teams on intricate, large-scale wayfinding projects in the UAE. You will collaborate with design leads to deliver packages and help craft signage concepts using CAD tools and 2D/3D models.

With strong Illustrator and CAD skills, you will work across architecture and interior design contexts, contributing to creative spaces and functional wayfinding programs while thriving in a dynamic studio

Qualifications

• Signage development and detailing for large-scale projects.
• Experience in planning and strategies for wayfinding.
• Background working with signage contractors and material specs.
• Experience in architecture and interior design contexts.
• Ability to conceptualize and design products and spaces that meet client needs.
• Create 2D and 3D design concepts and models using CAD; proficient in Illustrator and related CAD tools.
• Strong visualization and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with design leads to deliver wayfinding packages.
• Develop signage concepts and 2D/3D representations.
• Work with contractors on materials, LED, lighting, and specs.
• Conceptualize and design spaces that meet functional and aesthetic goals.
• Support the team across large-scale architectural projects (retail, urban, hospitality, etc).

About The Role:

We are seeking Experiential &Wayfinding Designer to provide strong and reliable support to our team in Dubai, UAE. In this mid-level role, you will play a pivotal role in collaborating with design leads and other design team members in delivery of packages. This position offers a unique opportunity for broad design skills and collaboration in some of the world's most intricate and large-scale wayfinding projects.

As our Global business is rapidly growing, you will find that no two days are the same! The role will promise lots of opportunities to unleash your creativity and see your creations come to life. Some of the activities and skills required include:

• Highly skilled in development of signage, detailing, development in Adobe Illustrator
• Experience in development of planning and strategies in wayfinding
• Background working with Signage Contractors in materials, specifications, details, LED, light requirements.
• General experience working in wayfinding for large scale architectural projects including retail, urban, hospitality, sports, residential etc
• General experience in Architecture, and Interior Design
• Under direction, conceptualize and design products and spaces that meet the functional, aesthetic, and budgetary requirements of our clients projects.
• Create 2D and 3D design concepts, sketches, and models using computer-aided design software (CAD). Highly skilled in Adobe Illustrator, Proficiency in computer-aided design software (CAD) such as AutoCAD, Adobe, SketchUp, Rhino, and/or 3DS Max.
• Strong conceptualization and visualization skills.
• Strong skills in both graphic design but also physical product design.
• Work with designed workflow systems to deliver high-quality projects
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
