Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Graphic Design, Environmental Design, Industrial Design, Product Design, Architecture or a related field.
• 2 years of professional experience; strong graduates with relevant portfolios are encouraged to apply.
• Strong interest in signage, wayfinding, environmental graphics and user experience within the built environment.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCAD, Rhino, and Keyshot. Revit or other relevant design software is an advantage.
• Good visual communication, graphic design and presentation skills.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn new tools, processes and technical skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary design environment.

Responsibilities

• Support development of wayfinding strategies, sign families and design concepts.
• Assist with sign location plans, message schedules, sign type drawings and presentation materials.
• Support research, benchmarking and analysis of user journeys and wayfinding requirements.
• Develop graphic layouts, typography, pictograms and colour systems for signage.
• Coordinate with architects, landscape designers and other disciplines on wayfinding requirements.
• Assist in delivering project artefacts under senior guidance.
• Participate in site visits, design reviews and workshops to understand signage materials and fabrication.

We are looking for a motivated and creative Signage and Wayfinding Designer to join our Dubai studio, supporting the delivery of high-profile projects across the Middle East. This is an opportunity for an emerging designer with a strong interest in signage, wayfinding and environmental design to learn, grow and develop within a multidisciplinary design environment.

The ideal candidate is curious, proactive, detail-oriented and excited to build their expertise in wayfinding while supporting the wider signage team across different stages of project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the signage and wayfinding team in the development of wayfinding strategies, sign families and design concepts.
• Assist with the preparation of sign location plans, message schedules, sign type drawings and presentation materials.
• Support research, benchmarking and analysis of user journeys, destinations and wayfinding requirements.
• Assist in developing graphic layouts, typography, pictograms, colour systems and other visual elements for signage.
• Work collaboratively with architects, landscape designers, graphic designers and other disciplines to coordinate wayfinding requirements.
• Support the preparation and coordination of project deliverables under the guidance of senior team members.
• Participate in site visits, design reviews and workshops while developing an understanding of signage materials, fabrication and implementation.
