Job summary

Taj HR seeks an Experiential 3D Designer with expertise in exhibitions, events, stands, brand activations, stages, kiosks and immersive environments. You will translate client briefs and brand requirements into compelling 3D visuals and finished layouts for production.

The role demands a strong balance of creativity, technical design ability, and attention to detail, with collaboration across project, production and creative teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in a related field (3D Design/Interior Design/Architecture/Exhibition Design).
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a 3D Designer, Exhibition Designer, Event Designer or related role.

Responsibilities

• Develop creative and innovative 3D concepts for exhibitions, events, activations, and experiential spaces.
• Design exhibition stands, booths, stages, kiosks, displays, experiential zones and temporary event structures.

Job description

We are looking for a creative and highly skilled Experiential 3D Designer with strong experience in exhibitions, events, exhibition stands, brand activations, stage designs, kiosks, and immersive environments.

The successful candidate will be responsible for transforming client briefs, brand requirements, and creative concepts into high-quality 3D designs, realistic renders, layouts, and production-ready design details.

The role requires a strong combination of creativity, technical design capability, attention to detail, and an understanding of how concepts are translated into physical event and exhibition environments.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable working in a fast-paced creative environment, managing multiple projects, responding to client feedback, and collaborating with project, production, and creative teams to ensure designs are both visually impactful and practically executable.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop creative and innovative 3D concepts for exhibitions, events, brand activations, and experiential spaces.
• Design exhibition stands, booths, stages, kiosks, displays, experiential zones, and temporary event structures.
• Translate client briefs, brand guidelines, and creative ideas into compelling 3D visual concepts.
• Produce high-quality and realistic 3D renders and visual presentations for client approvals.
• Develop accurate layouts, elevations, dimensions, and design details required for production and execution.
• Ensure designs are creative, functional, visually engaging, and technically feasible.
• Incorporate branding, signage, lighting, furniture, digital screens, interactive elements, and other experiential components into designs where required.
• Develop multiple design concepts and creative options based on project requirements and budgets.
• Modify and refine designs based on client feedback and internal reviews.
• Work closely with creative, project management, production, fabrication, and installation teams to ensure smooth execution of approved designs.
• Ensure final designs are suitable for fabrication, installation, and on-site implementation.
• Review designs with production teams and resolve design or technical challenges when required.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting agreed deadlines and quality standards.
• Stay updated on current exhibition, event, experiential, spatial, and brand activation design trends.
• Participate in client meetings and presentations when required and clearly communicate design concepts and recommendations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in 3D Design, Interior Design, Architecture, Exhibition Design, Visual Design, or a related field.
• Proven at least 5 years experience as a 3D Designer, Exhibition Designer, Event Designer, Experiential Designer, or similar role.

Portfolio Requirements

• Strong portfolio demonstrating experience in: Exhibition stands, Event environments, Brand activations, Stage designs, Kiosks and branded spaces, Experiential / immersive zones, 3D visualization and realistic renders.
• Experience working within events, exhibitions, advertising, marketing, experiential, or creative agencies is highly preferred.

Design Knowledge

• Strong understanding of spatial design, proportions, materials, lighting, and physical execution.
• Good understanding of fabrication and production requirements for exhibition and event projects.
• Ability to convert concepts into production-ready designs and technical details.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to understand client requirements and incorporate feedback effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Technical Skills

• Strong proficiency in relevant 3D design and visualization software, such as: 3ds Max, SketchUp, Cinema 4D, Blender, AutoCAD, V-Ray / Corona Renderer, Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.

Preferred Skills

• Previous experience with UAE-based exhibitions and events.
• Knowledge of local event and exhibition production practices.
• Experience working directly with clients and handling design revisions.
• Strong creative thinking and concept development skills.
• Understanding of materials, fabrication methods, lighting, signage, AV, and event structures.
• Ability to balance creative vision with technical feasibility and budget considerations.
• Arabic-speaking candidates are preferred.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate is a creative 3D designer who understands both design and execution. They should not only be able to create visually impressive concepts and renders, but also understand how those designs will be fabricated, installed, and experienced in a real event or exhibition environment.

Additional Requirements

Based in Abu Dhabi, UAE, or willing to relocate/work full-time in Abu Dhabi.

Arabic-speaking candidates are preferred.

Must be comfortable working on multiple projects with tight deadlines.

A strong portfolio of relevant 3D exhibition/event work is required.
