Jing Hau in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Welder to join the team in Bani Yas City, UAE. The ideal candidate should have welding experience and be willing to work with a wide range of materials.

The role requires reading and interpreting technical drawings, preparing materials, selecting welding equipment, welding components, repairing structures, and inspecting welds for accuracy. Foreigners are welcome to apply; a high school diploma is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of welding experience.
• Ability to read, interpret and follow technical drawings and plans.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects.
• Ability to work independently or with minimal supervision.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
• Foreigners are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Read, understand and interpret technical drawings, plans, sketches or blueprints.
• Prepare materials for welding by cutting, grinding and shaping them according to the given specifications.
• Select appropriate welding equipment based on the project requirements; weld metal components together using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment.
• Repair damaged metal structures or objects by welding parts together as necessary.
• Inspect finished welds for accuracy, ensuring consistency with drawings.
