Workato is seeking an experienced Optometrist to join our team in Abu-Dhabi. The role involves performing comprehensive eye examinations, using advanced equipment, and advising on corrective lenses and visual aids.

The candidate will maintain patient records and collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide high-quality eye care. The position requires a Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Optometry, a valid license, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Optometry from an accredited institution.
• Current license or certification in Optometry from a recognized authority.
• At least 2 years of experience working as an optometrist is preferred.
• Proficiency in using specialized software for eye exams, etc.
• Excellent communication skills with a customer-oriented approach.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive eye examinations, including refraction, ocular motility testing, and binocular vision assessment.
• Use sophisticated testing equipment to diagnose and treat vision problems.
• Recommend corrective lenses and other optical aids as needed.
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed.
• Educate patients on visual hygiene, lighting arrangements, and safety lenses.
• Prepare patient records and maintain accurate data in the patient database.
• Manage contact lens inventory and fittings.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals on patient cases.
