The successful candidate will assess vision needs, determine appropriate corrective options, and maintain patient records in accordance with local laws and regulations. This full-time position is based on-site in Abu-Dhabi.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Optometry degree from an accredited institution licensed by Abu-Dhabi.
• Valid optometry license from Abu-Dhabi.
• Knowledge of the latest vision technologies.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive eye exams and make accurate diagnoses
• Provide advice on the selection of eyeglasses or contact lenses
• Advise patients on their vision needs and any necessary lifestyle changes
• Prescribe corrective lenses or other treatments as needed
• Detect signs of disease or other conditions through tests such as glaucoma screenings
• Monitor the progress of ocular disorders or disease treatments
• Educate patients on topics such as healthy vision habits or contact lens safety
• Maintain accurate patient records and other paperwork
• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
